Official Information Act requests

The Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) gives New Zealanders the right to request official information.

To make an OIA request to the XRB, requests should include your name, postal address or preferred email address, and specific details of the information you require.

We will acknowledge your request as soon as practicable and respond to your request no later than 20 working days after we receive it. In some circumstances the OIA allows for an extension of time, if this is the case, we will contact you.
