Wendy Venter Chief Executive Wendy is an experienced executive with deep expertise in governance, risk management, and assurance. Prior to being appointed Chief Executive from January 2025, Wendy was an independent consultant and director, and a member of the New Zealand Auditing and Assurance Standards Board. Read more

Dr Amelia Sharman Director Sustainability Reporting Dr Sharman heads the team developing Aotearoa New Zealand Climate Standards and sustainability reporting metrics. Read more

Michelle Lombaard Director Accounting Standards Michelle joined the XRB in April 2024 as Director of Accounting Standards. Most recently, Michelle has been with Deloitte as Director. Read more

Misha Pieters Director Auditing & Assurance Misha heads the team supporting the New Zealand Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (NZAuASB) in its role of developing and issuing assurance standards. Read more

Dawn Bowden General Manager Corporate Services Dawn joined the External Reporting Board in September 2022 to lead the team that looks after the corporate functions that keep the organisation running smoothly. Read more
