IASB: Current Work and Emerging Issues

Jointly hosted by the Centre for Accounting, Governance and Taxation Research at Victoria University of Wellington and the External Reporting Board. 

Sue Lloyd will present the recent key developments from the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), including the standards covering Leases and Insurance Contracts, plus the current work programme of the IASB.

Charles Hett will discuss the New Zealand implementation impacts of the standards for Leases and Insurance Contracts.

Anthony Heffernan will examine these recently issued standards from the IASB, and discuss the public sector accounting standard approach to incorporating these through the IPSAS suite of standards.
