Webinar - A new standard for audits of Less Complex Entities
There is a perception that International Auditing Standards’ (ISAs) are primarily written for audits of large and complex entities (such as a multinational listed company).
For a long time, some auditors have highlighted that implementing ISAs requirements to audits of Less Complex Entities (LCE) is disproportionally difficult.
In response to these concerns, the International Audit & Assurance Board (IAASB) has developed a draft stand-alone standard, based on the underlying concepts from International Standards on Auditing, that will allow audits to be scalable and proportionate for LCEs.
