Getting to grips with GHG Assurance - Sandbox Session for Assurance Practitioners
Following issuance of an assurance standard for GHG emissions disclosures (NZ SAE 1) in August last year, climate reporting entities in New Zealand will now be gearing up to have their Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emission disclosures within their climate statements assured for accounting periods ending on or after 27 October 2024.
This hands on and practical session will be an opportunity for assurance practitioners to discuss:

The communication tools required by the standard, including modifications to the assurance opinion

Scope 3 value chain emissions and practical challenges arising

Other areas needing further guidance
This is a must attend event for assurance practitioners from all relevant professional disciplines in the assurance market.
