Assuring Greenhouse Gas Emissions Disclosures - Practitioner Perspectives

The XRB are currently developing the assurance requirements for mandatory greenhouse gas emissions disclosures and are keen to get input from practitioners.  

This interactive event was an opportunity to shape the assurance requirements while they are in development and help ensure the requirements are fit for purpose, create a level playing field, and accessible for all assurance practitioners.  

As well as getting an overview of what has been developed to date, we sought your views on key aspects of the requirements. The event also explored:   

• The GHG assurance  international developments and comparing them to where we’re heading in New Zealand    
• How to tailor the assurance requirements in New Zealand in light of emerging reporting and legislative requirements.
